Athletes upgraded to FieldLevel Premium have access to advanced research tools to help them discover colleges across the country and see how well they match with schools.

There are two primary things to check out when you're trying to find different college programs โ€” the College Matches section of your Premium dashboard and the College Search tool.

College Matches

To view your college recommendations and see how well you match with them, click the "Premium" icon at the top of your FieldLevel navigation bar.

From there, click on the "College matches" section.

Here, you can explore your college recommendations, which are created using the top matching colleges for each athlete and broken down into several helpful categories.

For each college on your Recommendations page, your Match Score will be displayed. Match Scores will range from Low to Excellent, and primarily focuses on the following:

  • Academic information (GPA, SAT, ACT)

  • Athletic metics (e.g. 40-time, pitching velocity, etc.)

  • Athlete location preferences (e.g. prefers west coast colleges)

  • Athlete level preferences (e.g. interested in NCAA D1 and D2 schools only)

  • Athlete school size preferences (e.g. prefers larger schools)

  • Coach projection (i.e. what competition level is the best fit for the athlete)

You can use your Recommendations to find colleges to add to your Target Schools list.

College Search

The other great way to discover great schools is by using the College Search tool. To access this, click the "Colleges" section at the top of your FieldLevel navigation bar.

Here, you will see various filters on the left-hand side you can use to discover colleges based on criteria you find important. This is where you can filter by Match Strength with each college and filter based on which colleges are following you.

When you identify colleges that meet your needs, you can add them to your Target Schools list.
