Communication with Athletes and Coaches

There are a number of features that allow coaches and athletes to communicate directly with one another on FieldLevel.

As coaches connect with one another, they have the ability to send and receive direct messages. When direct messages are sent, coaches will receive notifications via email and push notification if they have downloaded and installed the FieldLevel mobile app.

Coaches can communicate directly with athletes on their rosters. Athletes have a message icon located in their profiles allowing their coaches to send direct messages. Athletes are alerted via email and push notification as well.

College coaches can also send direct messages to athletes who are on their My Recruits list. Athletes have the same message icon located in their profiles allowing college coaches to send messages. College coaches must initiate the conversations with athletes in order for athletes to reply.

Athletes upgraded to FieldLevel Premium can reply to colleges that follow their profiles. Colleges will receive email notifications when athletes write personal letters in response to follows, providing athletes the opportunity to communicate directly with college coaches and explain why they want to be a part of their programs.

Athletes and coaches can manage their notification settings from their profiles. Coaches can also mute conversations and block coaches if they no longer want to receive messages/notifications from particular coaches.
